William Morris At Home Honeysuckle And Tulip Sage/Plaster Bedding
Product Description
William Morris At Home Honeysuckle And Tulip Sage/Plaster Bedding
Designed by William Morris in 1876, Honeysuckle and Tulip was described by his daughter, May Morris as ‘the most truly “Morrisian” in character of all his-pattern making in later life’. This intricate design showcases four of Morris’s favourite flowers to include crown imperial, tulip, honeysuckle, and fritillary, set against a dense yew background. Printed onto a beautiful 220 thread count cotton sateen base, this reversible bedding is coloured in a sophisticated palette of soft sage greens and plaster pink tones. This design, known for its harmonious balance, captures the essence of William Morris's later work, combining nature-inspired motifs with a refined sense of structure.
