To celebrate 100 years of Portmeirion, we have teamed up with Penderyn to mark the occasion with our very own 'THE VILLAGE' edition; No.14 in their 'Icons of Wales' collection.
In a matte white, delicately embossed bottle, this is amarone cask finish single malt Welsh whisky is beautifully presented in an intricate decoupage box.
These limited edition bottles are now available to purchase to mark our 100 year anniversary.
Aroglau : Aroglau ffrwythau aeddfed yn cydblethu ag aroglau derw a sbeis gydag arlliw o fanila a choco yn arwain at sawr cynnil mel a derw crasu.
Blas : Mae'r blas yn ymagor yn foethus felfedaidd a chydnerth gan ddatgelu blasau aeron cochion, eirin aeddfed, sbeis mwyn a melyster mel gydag arlliw o flagur.
Diweddglo: Erys ol-flas hir ac amheuthun gyda ffrwythau candi, derw sbeis, ac arlliw cynnil o danin grawnwin - adlais gosgeid-dig o'r cyfnos dros y gwinllannoedd.
Tasting Notes :
Nose: On the nose, layers of ripe fruit and oak spice intertwine with whispers of vanilla and cocoa, followed by delicate honey and gentle toasted oak.
Palate: The palate unfolds luxuriously - velvety and full bodied - revealing red berries, ripe plums, soft spice, and a honeyed sweetness touched by floral undertones.
Finish: A long, warming finishing lingers with candied fruit, spiced oak, and a subtle trace of grape tannins - a graceful echo of fading light over the vineyards.
