COVID-19

HOW WE PLAN TO MAINTAIN OUR HIGH LEVEL OF SERVICE TO YOU

As you are aware, COVID-19 has been and continues to dominate the news.  PORTMEIRION SHOPS LIMITED are carefully monitoring the situation. However, we wanted to update you with some of the measures already put in place to help protect the business and it's staff whilst still ensuring high levels of service.

The website remains open and we are taking orders and dispatching as normal. We have implemented strict Staff rules. We have also put in place measures that all are pickers and packers are lone worker. The health and safety of all the staff is paramount and the highest level of the good practices as recommend by the Government is taken. Of course this does effect our operational service and does mean that delivery times will be longer.

As a business, we already have a Business Continuity Plan in place. This has recently been reviewed to take into account COVID-19.  Due to this, we have plans in place should we have to change our working practices.

We will continue to update you.

Many thanks for your understanding. If you require any further information please email info@portmeiriononline.co.uk

The main shops and cafes are open. Caffi’r Sgwâr and the Town Hall Café have take-away service. Castell Deudraeth brasserie (booking advised) and the Hotel Terrace (no bookings, subject to weather) both offer table service.

We do not sell day tickets online however tickets are always available on the day of your visit at the entrance Tollgate. If you are planning to visit Portmeirion during August, it is worth arriving early to avoid delay at the tollgate. Every Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday until 31st August both Castell Deudraeth and the Hotel Terrace offer an Eat Out to Help Out menu (50% off per person up to a maximum of £10).

From 3rd July to 3rd August we initiated a scheme to give all NHS workers free entry to Portmeirion for one month. We are delighted to announce that we welcomed 1141 NHS staff free of charge during this period and we hope this gesture was of benefit. As the scheme now comes to an end we would like to say thank you to all NHS staff for all their hard work during the current crisis. We hope you enjoyed your visit.

Thank you for all your support and we look forward to seeing you soon.
