The Old Curiosity Distillery have launched the first ever gin to help combat climate change with 20% of proceeds going to the RSPB’s work in preserving Scotland’s endangered Flow Country.

This is the newest addition to the Secret Garden Gin collection, a tribute to the Flow Country and the work of the RSPB. This gin is distilled with nine wild botanicals.

This gin is a twist on the classic London dry gin, Wild allows the flavours of the indigenous herbs to come through in the taste and aroma, resulting in a beautifully complex and balanced gin.

Side by side with  juniper Wild is created with freshly distilled sweet cicely, bog myrtle, dwarf birch, angelica root, winter savory, wooden avens, sweet woodruff, yarrow and nettle. Most of which are grown and cultivated in their own Secret Gin Garden to ensure it does not disrupt the delicate ecosystem of the Flow Country.

Garnish with a freshly harvested nettle and your favourite tonic!
